Passion
Nearly a year ago I lost someone that was pretty much my whole life. During this year it's been very difficult to find the passion inside me to make the more intricate pieces. I'm slowly coming out of the fog and experiencing new passions, hence all the work with meaning behind their names.
These are two of the new sets "Beauty Within" and "Desir Cache" - french for Hidden Passion. They are ready for a new home and are listed here.

Back at the Torch
I'm finally getting back in the groove of things and making time to melt glass. You would think that winter would be the perfect time to sit behind the torch and it is for some, but for me I'm the happiest in the summer and so the most inspired, ready to bust a move. As for now, I'm dreaming of my veggie and flower filled garden, plottin' and plannin' what will be to come!
So back to the beads......these two new sets, "Changing Tides" and "Rum Raisin" are now available in my etsy shop. Take a look here.

Ginger Kombucha
This past Saturday night we had a little bit of snow, around 2 1/2", so what better thing to do than work on my kombucha on a snow covered lazy Sunday? If your wondering what the heck is kombucha it is a fermented tea that has all kinds of beneficial minerals. In this one I'm adding fresh ginger to give it a little more zing! In about a week it will be ready for the drinkin'.

The Community Chicken
Meet Licorice, she is the only one left out of five black hens that wandered out of my woods two summers ago. I have no idea where they came from and neither do my neighbors but she roams around just enjoying being free. I've taken on the duty of feeding her and she is quite the joy to me. She's definitely one tough bird and truly free range!
