September 5, 6 and 7 (labor day weekend) is the Chinquapin Festival in Meadows of Dan. I will be selling my jewelry and mom will be selling her watercolors and purses.
Other craft vendors will be selling along with locally grown produce, live old time music, hay bale maze and food and fun in the fields.
The festival celebrates the soon ripening chinquapins and the opening of the "Corn Acoustics Corn Maze". The corn maze will be open on the weekends till the end of October.
